Since 2007 I have been on a plant-based (vegan) diet after I finished treatment for cancer. It has enabled me to remain healthy, maintain a low weight and have more energy.
I went plant-based "cold turkey" after a friend asked me if I had read the China Study by Dr. Colin Campbell. I had never heard of it but when I returned home I checked it out of the library. That was the impetus I needed. I realized I could control my health by changing my diet. I have never looked back.
4 years later I took Dr. Colin Campbell's Plant-Based Certificate Program through Cornell University. He is one of the most brilliant scientists and nutritionists in the US and has changed the health of so many people.
I consider myself retired, but I love to help people especially when I see they have health problems that could be changed by changing their diet. So, I offer my knowledge and services free of charge to anyone who would like help in moving towards a plant based diet.
